David Bowie 'Life On Mars?' inspired embroidered organic cotton unisex sweatshirt.
Intricate embroidery featuring Bowie's iconic look in the 1973 music video.
'Life On Mars?' is one of David Bowie's best-loved and most covered songs, the surreal glam masterpiece. The stark white background against Bowie's shocking orange hair, blue eyeshadow and pink lips created one of Bowie's most striking images. The video was produced for less than £300 in a warehouse in Ladbroke Grove, London. Bowie's make up artist Pierre La Roche created a look that popped, photographer Mick Rock noted that "I wanted to do something that looked like a painting".
The video portrays Bowie's face in extreme close up as the entire landscape of the film.
This Bowie inspired embroidery is available in plain cotton or metallic / glitter thread for that extra bit of Bowie glam!
